Capturing the EXPERIENCE ... up close

About me

 

In my childhood it was my grandfather who introduced to watching cycling on TV during the summer days. It was however only until 2005 that I first appeared on a starting line of a cycling race.

 

Now I do a only few races and some recreational triathlons each year. Yet being close to cycling races never let me go. Over the years I also grew to appreciate cycling from a different perspective as a photographer. 

 

 

Participating in cycling races is an experience. It is hard to explain ... but once you have felt it you want more of it (although some people never want any more of it).

 

It is about losing, perseverance, sacrifice, speed, danger, risk, death, friendship, teamwork, passion, skill, strategy and sometimes winning. This may explain why people can be so passionate about cycling. 

 

My ambition is to combine a passion for photography with that of cycling. This website is only a way to share this beyond my hard drive.
